Housings, covers, bearing blocks, brackets and levers for machine builders, including agricultural, textile and construction equipment. Larger parts run on our 1,000 and 1,250 t machines or by gravity die casting up to 25 kg.

Process and alloys
Gravity die casting (LM25, LM6, LM4) for structural parts; HPDC (ADC12, LM24) for covers, trays and housings at volume.
Machine builders buy fewer, heavier and more highly machined parts, with long product lives. Value per part is higher and supplier changes are rare once a part is approved.
Parts shown were made on our lines. Tooling and drawings belong to our customers, so part numbers and customer names are not shown.

Requirements, and how we meet them
Machined in-house so bores and faces are finished in the same set-up; critical dimensions checked at 20 °C.
Gravity die casting for thicker structural sections, with grain refinement and modification on every melt.
1,000 and 1,250 t HPDC capacity for larger projected areas; 10 t and 5 t overhead cranes for die handling.
Gravity tooling costs less than HPDC tooling, which suits machine programmes that run hundreds rather than hundreds of thousands a year.
