Gravity Die Casting

Aluminium Gravity Die Casting (GDC)

Tilting and horizontal gravity die casting for thicker-section, high-integrity and pressure-tight aluminum components.

The process

What gravity die casting is, and when it's right

Molten aluminium is poured by gravity into a reusable metal mould. The slower fill gives denser, more structurally sound castings — the right choice for thicker sections, pressure-tight parts and lower tooling cost at modest volumes.

High integrity · thicker section

Gravity Die Casting

Molten aluminium is poured by gravity into a reusable metal mould, giving denser, higher-integrity castings suited to thicker or structurally critical sections.
